They arrived an hour ahead of schedule, and they were incredibly careful and efficient with all of my possessions. Contact these movers while keeping an eye on your budget.

The company and its staff were friendly and skilled. They were paying attention to all the tiny details and were dealing with my possessions carefully.

My worries were put to rest when the helpful and skilled team showed up at 7 am to do the work before my shift. They started wrapping my furniture once they had all the packing supplies they needed.

If we could give this company 0 stars just to lower their average we would. Besides being overcharged almost double the initial price, many of the items we had delivered were broken or damaged enough to be physically noticeable. Upon notifying the owner about the situation, we were told to send pictures and file with their insurance BUT were also told the payback would be “per pound” of weight of the broken items. We are absolutely going to sue this company and looking at the Better Business Bureau website, it’s clear that we are not the first to have to do so.

I was charged an extra 2,600 on top of the original quote I received. I ended up not even loading all of the items I needed to from the original quote.

I have been trying to get a call back from 3 different representatives of this company over the past three days and no one seems to want to help resolve my issue or even simply hear me out.

They have cost me thousands of dollars and do not plan on resolving a mistake they had made.

I have done numerous cross country moves and have never had something like this happen, I did everything needed on my end including 3 separate calls to go over quality insurance. Very disappointed to say the least.

They kicked things off by giving my place the once-over to figure out how to pack and load everything. Then they got busy wrapping up the delicate stuff, like my makeup gear and crystal collection. Bubble wrap and sturdy boxes to the rescue!

Bad communication

I am not going to rant about price which is insane! They quote you one thing and when they arrive is a lot more. They do not answer calls or emails I have been without my dinning table for over a week now even though they delivered everything else. I have tried numerous calls and e-mail and still no reply.

Any 5-star review of this company simply has to be an employee. There’s absolutely no way they get it 5 star right as much as they get it 1 star wrong, simple logic defies that theory. Please don’t hire these guys, they are absolutely awful and incredibly shady.

Here are the bullet points:

*Showed up a full day late
*Charged us DOUBLE the original quote on moving day when we had to be out of the house – no option to hire someone else at that point. (cross country move)
*Left the old house a mess
*Rude foreman, unresponsive management
*Sent a 1 man crew to deliver (a four bedroom move)
*Delivery guy didn’t speak English, so we had to use google translate
*Delivery guy was then threatened over the phone by their dispatch operator that he’d ‘get no more work’ from Unlimited after we complained, not about him, but about the fact that there was only one guy sent to deliver such a big job. By the way there were 6 guys who came at pick up…. so go figure.
*We paid 3 different entities over the course of the move. It was shady as anything I’ve ever experienced. One option was to pay the foreman’s PERSONAL Venmo. No thanks.

I hope you read this and just don’t hire these clowns. Seriously, run a mile from them.

I’m not kidding when I say it’s the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve had a few bad situations. I’ve moved internationally THREE TIMES and they were all way easier than this, and that includes all the paperwork. Can you imagine….

If you do hire Unlimited moving and storage, later on you’ll wish you had taken this advice, I guarantee it.

Unlimited Moving moved me from Illinois to Tennessee. After my stuff was delivered, the movers literally hit the dock and a huge lamp post at my new complex. The damage was to the tune of $5,000. We have them on video. I have been fighting to get this paid for 4 months. They made me work through their insurance who DENIED the claim….very unresponsive and don’t seem to care that my new apartment is holding me responsible for a $5,000 bill. I literally have their drivers on video doing this damage. They also lost part of my section which made it unusable and are giving me $88 towards a replacement. About to have to get an attorney involved….

Thanks to our fantastic moving crew, we were able to pack and unload the truck in record time. They were considerate and kind towards everything.
