After helping a friend with their move, we realized we needed professional movers for our relocation. It was our best decision, and we rated them a perfect ten. We handled about half of our belongings, leaving only the larger items and a few boxes.

It’s so hard to find good movers, but I’ve used Dumbo Moving twice and have had great experiences! They have reasonable rates, professional and courteous movers, and are very easy to reach by phone if you have questions or anything changes. Highly recommend!

From the beginning to the end of the move, these guys really made it swift and easy. The website is great. You can literally put in all your furniture and see the quote right away! I spoke to Luis to set up the move and he was very nice and patient. The price is very reasonable and they offer extra cost effective services.

I can’t appreciate the work enough! We had Leo and David help us with our move from Brooklyn to Queens and they were so genuinely nice and accommodating! They made good conversation and cared for every bit of furniture, even taking time to wrap some things for us! We moved to a walk up and they did the job with enthusiasm! Thank you Leo and David for your help! Needless to say, my husband and I will look forward to using Dumbo Moving again!

Game changing experience if you live in NYC. My two movers were so friendly and helpful and peofessional. They rolled with the inevitable punches and really went the extra mile, packing up last bits of odds and ends, carefully wrapping up power cords, etc. Really unexpected. The back and forth with the front office organizing the move was very very smooth and personal instead of doing everything on a website. Can’t recommend this service enough. Blown away

HORRIBLE experience!

HORRIBLE experience! I hired this company to move basic stuff within brooklyn. 1 small dining table, 1 sectional, 1 queen sized townsend brand bed I was concerned about due to the complexity. They quoted me $410 I was charged $50 downpayment ahead with my card which was on file. First of all I had to call to schedule time, secondly, multiple people calling same time with different instructions. Mover arrived 45 mins later with 1 helper. Told me he needed to use tools for bed so I needed to pay $200 extra. I didnt expect him to be tarzan and take the bed apart by hand, it was a hard addition but I agreed knowing it wasnt even my entire home they were moving. He wanted the money in CASH or zelle.. why would I have this laying aroung in cash? My bank was a block away I jad my neighbor stay and I started off for the bank, then he asked me to stand near the vehicle so he doesnt get a ticket. Ok should I get your money or be your security guard? Then I received a call from the office(JACK) stating I should pay NOW in a demanding tone. By then I was totally pissed and told him am not a thief he has my card on file stop playing me for a fool back and forth this is unprofessional. Jacke then called the mover and told him dont work until I pay him in full😒. Basically accusing me of trying to scam him which I wasnt aware of since I was on my way to the bank by then. I returned with the cash and called the office and demanded a receipt since they were rude to me. An hr later the mover +(1 helper who btw complained how tired he was all week and moved like a turtle) announced the van was small and I needed to pay extra for a second trip. Then I contacted the office and promised to take them to court. First of all it was not my decision to drive a van to move someone you sent a van rather than a truck and the nerve of you to ask me to pay extra in cash. This mover seems like he is a total scam and tries to steal from customers! He asked me should he take my half case of water. Am a single parent and you’re asking for 12 bottles of water remaining from a pack??? He used ALL of my tape to tape the blankets together meanwhile I was securing my cushions since he was dragging them on the dirty floors in the lobby. Then I found a few screws behind from the bed the following day . Got to the new location and he informed me to couch could not fit in the door and left on the sidewalk. My BP was 189/145 that day! Please stay away from this company!!!!!!!

Dumbo Moving Truck 30 did a move for us on 8/27/2023 in the UES of the city and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They called ahead, arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Throughout, the guys were professional, personable, used care, and were thoughtful and considerate about where they placed boxes.

I rarely write reviews, but Truck 30 was simply top notch. I highly recommend them. Many thanks to Dumbo Moving and Truck 30 for making our moving day go smoothly.

We just recently moved from NY to PA and much back and forth with other moving companies we decided on Dumbo. We are so glad that we did! Dumbo movers were super professional, very respectful and extremely hardworking; seriously these men worked so physically hard and fast while efficiently. Our foreman was Dimitri and his guys were a pleasure to work with. All our furniture was disassembled by them and well packaged. We are grateful that our furniture and belongings arrived well. Dimitri and his team assembled all of the furniture in our new home, again quickly and efficiently. They helped package items that were still not packaged in the old home, and had all the supplies to do so. They had wardrobe boxes as well making the transporting of hanging clothes quite easy. All in all, choosing Dumbo over any other company (and we looked at about 15) was the best choice we made for movers. We highly recommend them to anyone moving.
