USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL!
I hired Fidelity Auto Shipping to transport my vehicle from Maryland to California. They agreed, when I paid my $175 deposit 10 days before the date agreed upon for Fidelity to pick up my car – as required, they said they would pick up my car on 23 December. December 23rd came and went and Fidelity no showed and did not call to tell me why. I called and was told they’d be there the next day…they no showed that day as well and again no call.
My car sat in Maryland, in storage I had to pay for, for four (4) weeks while Fidelity hmmd and haad and refused to give me any assurance or confirmation on when of if they’d even pick up my car. The situation got so bad that I had to file a compliant with the Better Business Bureau and only then did they “finally” find a transport to pick up my vehicle.
If you use Fidelity read your agreement very carefully before you sign it, then don’t sign it. They agreement clearly states that they DO NOT and CANNOT guarantee the pick up or delivery date of your vehicle. What it should say is that they will pick up your car whenever they feel like in from the date your arrange the pick up to NEVER.
I used Fidelity because they portrayed themselves as trustworthy and reliable but I was so very wrong. Do not use this company. Pay the extra hundred or so dollars and use a company that will actually do what you need/hire them to do.
